If you’re in the Madison Wisconsin area, you may see the Wacky Dancer Squad around. We have all of the Wacky Dancer varieties, plus a few extra. Crowd reception is always great. Children frequently hi-five us or hug us, unless they’re scared of us and hide behind their parents. Adults usually smile and wave back at us. No matter where we go, people are happy to see us. We’re interested in parades, festivals, and public events. Community things are free, commercial we’ll negotiate a reasonable fee. Reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be in contact.
Interested in being a squad member? Email email@example.com and we’ll add you to our list. We’ll let you know when engagements are and you can decide if you want to participate or not. We provide the costumes. It’s always fun to be on the inside of a Wacky Dancer, interacting with people while remaining in the comfort of anonymity, feeding our need for socialization while respecting our social awkwardness and introversion (at least some of us, anyway. If you’re an extrovert and love this kind of thing, it’s great for that, too!).
